Milan, NY is a small town in Dutchess County, located in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. The town has a mayor-council form of government, with the mayor and four council members being elected every two years. The current mayor is Sarah Margolis, who was first elected to office in 2017. She has been active in promoting economic growth and improving quality of life for Milan's citizens. The town is part of the 19th Congressional district represented by Representative Antonio Delgado. There are also three county representatives - Legislator Joe Gierak, Legislator Nick Page and Legislator Rich Perkins - who represent the area on matters related to local government such as education, public works and health care.
